Senior Digital Content Strategist Emma Harrison Recognized as a 30 under 30 Honoree

We’re proud to be recognized amongst our impressive industry colleagues at the Publicity Club of Chicago’s first ever virtual Golden Trumpet Awards ceremony this month.

JT had the opportunity to help Sinai Health System celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019. The project, Sinai 100: A Century of Caring for Chicago, elevated 100 stories of Sinai staff, caregivers, administrators and community members through compelling videos and a website built as a home for these profiles and events throughout the anniversary year.

Our efforts on this project earned a Golden Trumpet in the Special Event category at the Publicity Club of Chicago’s 2020 Golden Trumpet Awards. The recognition and celebration of Sinai’s tremendous impact and critical role in caring for Chicago’s west side earned high impact placements in the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Sun-Times, as well as feature stories in Chicago Sun-Times, Lawndale News and Chicago Jewish News, and two interviews with Sinai CEO Karen Teiltelbaunm on WBBM-AM radio programs “At Issue” and “Made in Chicago.”

In addition to our work with Sinai, our efforts on the new and improved John Howard Association (JHA) website earned a Silver Trumpet in the Website category. JHA is the only independent prison monitoring organization in Illinois. They go inside every correctional facility in the state and interview administrators and incarcerated people to evaluate conditions, treatment and programming for imprisoned youth and adults. Our work involved conducting one-on-one interviews with staff and external stakeholders to inform messaging for the website and identify audience expectations and needs.

The new website and visual identity have reaffirmed JHA’s position in Illinois’ criminal justice system as a fair, trusted and independent watchdog. Their work, mission and impact is now more accessible than ever to key audiences and decisionmakers.

Last, but certainly not least, we are proud to announce that JT’s very own Emma Harrison was recognized as a 30 under 30 honoree. Emma serves as JT’s senior digital content strategist, leading and implementing full-scale digital advocacy and awareness campaigns designed to engage target audiences, raise awareness of issues and motivate action. Congratulations to Emma on this honor!
