Since joining JT in 2005, Carly has played a lead role in many events and international advance-related projects.
Projects have included the 2017 North American Climate Summit, 2012 NATO Summit, 2009 grand opening of the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center and 2008 Democratic National Convention, as well as international learning trips on behalf of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Elders and the Carter Center.
In 2014, Carly worked very closely with the Ford Foundation to manage a human rights convening held in Marrakech, Morocco. In addition to all of the logistics for the convening, Carly managed travel and protocol for more than 40 participating leaders from around the world.
Since 2008, Carly has been working with Chicago-based Advocate Charitable Foundation on strategy and implementation for their annual hospital benefits.
Most recently, Carly has worked closely with Distinctive Schools to create their first ever fundraising event, managing the overall event strategy and coordinating all logistical details. Additionally, Carly produced a virtual webinar for client CSU-Global.
Previously, Carly served as scheduler and volunteer coordinator and provided advance services for Tammy Duckworth’s 2006 6th District congressional campaign.
Carly earned a bachelor’s degree in social relations from Michigan State University. She currently sits on the Young Women’s City (YWC) Council of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago.
