April McFadden

Account Executive


April joined JT in May 2018, with experience in non-profit communications, digital strategies and strategic writing.

April jumped right in and is contributing to a variety of clients, including Skills for Chicagoland’s Future, Chicago Community Trust, Illinois Institute of Technology and Sinai Health System. Building on her experience with media relations, digital strategy, and project management, April brings a unique strategic insight to clients.

She also is experienced in producing annual reports, from compiling content as well as selecting compelling stories that speak to the organization’s mission. In 2018, the Publicity Club of Chicago recognized April with a Silver Trumpet in the digital publications category for her work on Communities In Schools of Chicago’s 2017 Annual Report.

April graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago studying education policy.
